A Conversation with Sara Black and Vicki Rothschild

Sara-Black1abcTomorrow evening (March 19th) at 9:30pm (Eastern Time) we will be talking to Chef extraordinaire Sara Black, on BlogTalkRadio.com. Ms. Black hails from Israel and has a business here as well in her native land. Later this week we will post 6 Passover recipes which I’ve had the privilege to film and taste at a private demo given by Chef Sara. I can assure you they were all incredibly delicious in spite of the fact they were very quick and easy to prepare.

Chef Sara runs a catering company – Asparagus Catering – and is also a Private Chef here in the US as well Israel. In the past she was Executive Chef at various Israeli hotels and restaurants, as well as restaurants in France and other parts of Europe. Our Guest on this Evening’s Radio Show is…

Having cancelled my radio show last week – due to an unplanned visit to the E.R. at New York Methodist Hospital (I was dehydrated, a really foolish condition for a self-avowed foodie – or anybody else, for that matter) – and because of tomorrow evening’s Siyum HaShas, we rescheduled our regular show to this evening at 8:00 pm (Eastern Time) on BlogRalkRadio.com/kosherscene. Our guest will be Menachem Lubinsky, President and CEO of Lubicom, who has graced our pages and airwaves before (here and here). We will be talking about the state of kosher today. As always, you will find him extremely informative.

Prior and during his time at Lubicom, Mr. Lubinsky worked and continues to work extensively with both profit and non-profits. He has an M.B.A. in Marketing and Advertising from the Bernard Baruch College at City University of New York. He has received many prestigious awards and been honored by major organizations for his work and advocacy. As a major player in the field, he is the universally acknowledged expert on the matter of kosher marketing, its history and its growth.

Meanwhile, in case you missed it, you can listen to our archived broadcast with delightful guest Naomi Sugar. Naomi blogs at 365scoops.com, a blog dedicated to making and sharing her ice cream creations. 365scoops believes in good, old fashioned ice cream, free of preservatives (and ingredients that you cannot pronounce!).

Please tune us in this evening at 8:00 pm (Eastern Time) on BlogRalkRadio.com/kosherscene when we will be talking to Menachem Lubinsky.

Hoping to “see” you there!

Tonight’s Radio Show…

This evening on Blogtalkradio we will be speaking, at 8:00 pm (Eastern Time), to Ezzy Duchman, who founded Jewpon together with his brother Zalmy. At a time when the coupon field is starting to get crowded, do we need yet another player? Does the new kid in town offer anything different or is it more of the same?

Jewpon started out in December 2010, it’s first deal was in Miami and since has expanded to Lakewood, Monsey, Manhattan, Los Angeles, Boca Raton, Toronto and overseas to Yerushalayim. They also have a lot of national deals going at any given moment. Aside from all these, the company also runs various charity drives as we shall hear. The company has been written up and discussed by examiner.com, CNN Money, Market Watch, Yiddish Life, The Miami Herald, Jewish Life and Dan’s Deals.

A typical Jewpon Deal

Ezzy will explain what Jewpon is about, what makes it different. Please listen in this evening to The Kosher Scene Radio Show at 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm (Eastern Time) for an interesting, informative and money saving conversation.

If you missed our show from last week, you can access our archived interview with Poopa Dweck, author of the most beautiful kosher cookbook I’ve ever owned – Aromas of Aleppo, here. Mrs. Dweck is a community activist based in Deal, NJ. Her cookbook is more than just a collection of recipes, the photos are truly amazing, the notes accompanying each recipe, the history and cultural tidbits set it far apart from any other cookbook I’ve ever seen. Both her cookbook and our conversation attest to her passion for the subject, it’s well worth a listen!

Meanwhile don’t forget to tune us in this evening!
