Let us hope that this Pessach we break the chains of spiritual, emotional and intellectual slavery and become truly liberated from our self imposed indenture to others’ bankrupt values. If we do, then and only then, will the West wake up from its complacency and vigorously stand up to those who would take today’s world back to the barbarism of the seventh century of the Current Era.

I agree, of course. In response to your last paragraph, above, the reward would also go the rest of the world, that part of the world who always seems to think: Just give them what they want, so they can leave us alone. It will never happen.

Along the lines of what you said earlier in your story, let me share an Arabic proverb that I find borne out every single day: “Barbers practice on the heads of orphans” It means, just as you pointed out, we will start with the Jews, and who’s going to say “look at the lousy haircut you gave my kid”? (BTW where was the Red Cross and all those human rights organizations at the time of the Holocaust, the great purge, the gulags etc…..?) Phase two: If it works, as ostensibly it always does, we will move on to bigger and better things: 9/11, Lockerbie, Bali Disco, American submarines in Yemen and on and on.

By defending the Jew, The nations of the world will actually be defending themselves, plain and simple.
